Pattern Painting

Silverstone Paint Technology offer a full in house pattern painting service. This involves painting the tooling block with a specially formulated epoxy, then flatting the surface down and polishing it to a mirror finish to a tolerance of 0.1mm.

This virtually eliminates any pores forming in the Carbon fibre, therefore reducing the amount of filler required to be applied to the finished composite component, which in turn reduces the Weight, Time and Cost required to paint the component. This process can also be applied to none painted surfaces found on the airbox, brake ducts and rad ducts producing a greatly improved surface finish.
